Hartek was founded as a family company in 2001, with experience in diamond cutting tool production since 1992 and industry experience dating back to the 1970s.

With current production facilities in Istanbul, Bilecik, and Afyon, it manufactures diamond cutting and processing tools and equipment for the natural stone, construction, and metal sectors.

Hartek has long been recognized as a reliable international solution partner in Europe and the Middle East. Additionally, in 2017, Hartek LLC was established in the state of New Jersey to serve as Hartek's United States headquarters, aiming to serve the North and South American markets.

Hartek is a pioneer in the industry for newly developing multi-wire cutting technologies. It is the only Turkish company producing Plastic Coated MultiWire with a diamond bead diameter of up to 4.3 mm. The company has lasting R&D collaborations with Turkey's most renowned technical universities and academic institutions. It allocates a significant budget to R&D activities.
