Our founding purpose is to preserve the valuable heritage of the past for future generations, while also contributing to modern living spaces with innovative wooden structures. In 1989, after Architect Halime Nilgül ŞENER and Civil Engineer Kemal Rahmi ŞENER completed their undergraduate studies at Middle East Technical University, In 1990, they established NİLŞEN ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING OFFICE, and in 1996, Nilşen Dershanesi and Nilşen Architecture Engineering Office were merged to form NİLŞEN CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTING INDUSTRY TRADE INC., which holds the current title.

Our company began operating in Istanbul in 2004, and our work continues to be based in Istanbul. On December 3, 2024, our Dutch company, Nilsen Restoration & Wood Structure B.V., began operations with the aim of expanding our work to Europe. We remain at the forefront of our work with the same amateur spirit and enthusiasm as on the first day.
