Özcan Türe

Özcan Türe, born in Istanbul on September 3, 1973, is a folk music singer with roots in the Aşkale district of Erzurum. His interest in music began at the age of nine with the baglama and zurna; this passion, which he patiently cultivated over the years, carried him to professional stages in the mid-1990s.
While carrying the traces of immortal names of folk music such as Arif Sağ, Davut Sulari, Aşık Reyhani, Ali Ekber Çiçek and Erdal Erzincan in his art, he revitalized folk songs with his unique interpretation and won a place in hearts.
Özcan Türe continues to contribute to cultural heritage not only as a performer but also as a songwriter, producer and presenter. With his genuine voice, in-depth interpretations and sincere stance, he has won the admiration of listeners who love folk music.
