SPK was founded in 1976 in the Şişli district of Istanbul by Temel Söğüt under the name "Söğüt Kardeşler." As Turkey's first manufacturer of PPR plumbing pipes for indoor use, SPK developed PPR Pipe Systems through its investments. It introduced Turkey to type 3 PPR plastic sanitary piping under the brand name "SPK Blue Pipe." Later, it produced and launched PP Wastewater Pipe Systems, PERT Pipe and Heating Systems, SPP Silent Wastewater Pipe Systems, and PVC Wastewater Pipe Systems to the global market, becoming a world-renowned brand.
